Swimming events are back
After a period of absence swimming Gala's and events back on.
This coming season we are looking to compete in a number of events from St Thomas Arbroath and the Midland District.
Midland District Team Gala - 17th Sept, 21st Jan & 19th Feb
St Thomas Winter Graded Meet - 4th Dec
Midland District Age Group Championships - 23rd oct, 6th Nov & 20th Nov

Midland District Team Gala Event
“Midlands District League Gala ( team event, swimmers will be selected to swim in the team)
Date: 17th September 2pm warm up
Pool: Montrose swimming pool
Age: on day, 10 and under, 11-12yrs, 13-14yrs and 15 and over
Distance: 10 and under 50m all others 100m, mixed relay
Date: 21st January 2023 2.30pm warm up
Pool: Forfar swimming pool
Age and distance as above
Date: 19th February 2.30pm warm up
Pool: Arbroath swimming pool
Age and distance as above
St Thomas Winter Graded Meet
St Thomas Winter Graded Meet (individual event) all day
Date: Sunday 4th December 2022
Pool: Arbroath swimming pool
Age group: Age on day, 10 and under, 11-12yrs, 13-14yrs and 15+
Distance: all strokes 100m, all strokes and IM 200m
Closing date: 4th November
Swimmers must swim a certain time to compete
Midland District Age Group Championships
Midland District Age Group Championships (individual event) don’t have to take part in every gala. All day. Swimmers must swim a certain time to take part.
Date: 23rd October 2022
Pool: Arbroath Swimming pool
Age group: 11-13yrs, 14yrs, 15yrs, 16yrs and 17Age and over.
Distance: 50m, 100m 200m
Date: 6th November 2022
Pool: Montrose swimming pool
Age group: as above
Distance: 50m, 200m and relay

Tuesday 14th June
Open to all members of Brechin Beavers who can swim 1 length.

Our Beaver of the month for Feb was Helena. She has shown amazing improvement in both confidence and ability. She has turned up every week and pushed herself that little bit harder every session! Well done Helena
